KDC was founded in 2005. It began with Phil and team designing, building, and remodeling homes across the entirety of Bainbridge Island and neighboring communities. Now, 20 years later KDC has expanded it’s team of experts, talented craftsmen, and seasoned project managers, all with passion for what they do. As a family owned and operated company, KDC builds long lasting relationships with their clients, partners and Bainbridge Island community.

Phil has been designing and building for over 35 years. He has a passion for woodworking, and looking at all projects holistically to provide solutions that best meet client’s needs.

Deborah applies her many years in program management to run the daily operations of KDC. She’s our primary customer liaison and enjoyes working closely with clients, our team, and the community.

Elias has been working in construction for 15 years and enjoys focusing on fine carpentry, including door and window install, trim, cabinetry, and precise woodworking in the shop.

Steve has been an integral part of our team for years. He’s our go-to for special projects including drywall installation & repairs, painting, and more. He brings a great energy to our projects and our team.

Chris
A long-time partner of KDC, Chris is our decking guru and also specializes in framing and finish work.
Chris loves boating, crabbing, golfing, and time with family and friends.

Chris
Aidan works with KDC when he comes home from college on breaks. He particularly enjoys demo work, and has been helping Phil in the woodshop since he was ten.

Lindsay began work with KDC in December 2024 and is excited to work for her family’s business. She offers administrative support and social media management while she attends college.
