If you've been to Bainbridge Island, WA, you've undoubtedly seen homes and businesses that were designed, built, and remodeled by Phil Kummerow.

As a general contractor with 25+ years of experience and founder of Kummerow Design & Construction, Inc. Phil has long enjoyed teaching, mentoring, and sharing his wealth of experience with those eager to learn elements of construction. Guiding homeowners through their DIY renovations is a natural fit.

Phil's been called in to rescue remodels gone wrong, which resulted in rework and wasted time & money. He'd much rather support enthusiastic home owners early in their renovation process to help set a clear path for DIY success.

Eric Mammano

Eric’s 20+ years in the construction industry has taken him from landscape design, computer-aided design drafting, extensive remodels, to fine-finish carpentry. Through it all, the common theme and most gratifying aspect is

helping homeowners, designers, and craftsmen navigate their way through the building process--together.

Creative and curious by nature with a bias towards affecting change, Eric

enjoys mentoring and contributing to positive outcomes. He has an appreciation

for those with good intentions and high expectations, and admiration for those with the ability to learn and try new things. For Eric, success begins and ends
